Simple Temperature Monitoring Via GSM:

The AGT Series is a complete standalone temperature monitoring solution. One of the most compact and best value for money GSM temperature monitoring solutions on the market, the AGT Series is perfect for a wide range of applications where the user requires up-to-date temperature information or alerts. It can be placed anywhere with a GSM signal and will monitor and record the temperature from its sensor, attached via a cable, available in 1, 3, 5 and 10m lengths. Please note that the regular sensors are not suitable for immersing in liquids, though we do offer an "Outdoor" probe with a 3m cable.

The AGT Series can be configured easily via a simple Windows™ application or via SMS commands sent directly to the device using a mobile phone.

Alert Modes:

The AGT has three alert modes which can be enabled together or separately so if the temperature goes outside the safe limits you've set you will be notified.

Email - AGT will email an assigned address.

SMS - AGT will send an SMS text message to up to 10 mobile numbers.

Ring Out - AGT will dial up to 10 telephone numbers to 'ring the phone' The incoming caller ID tells the receiver that the AGT is calling with a temperature issue.

AGT Battery Solution

If you need to monitor the temperature in a remote location with no access to mains power then it is possible to power the AGT via a battery.

The AGT has been tested with a YUASA 12V, 17Ah battery with the AGT running continuously for one week, recording the temperature every 30 minutes and sending the temperature datalog email once a day, we also simulated 2 temperature warning messages per day. We recommend that you check the GSM signal in your area first before using this solution

The battery can be recharged using a standard car battery recharger unit as found in most hardware or motor stores.

Datalogger Feature:

An additional powerful feature of the AGT is its datalogging facility. The AGT will email a log of temperature readings once an hour in .CSV Comma-Separated Variable format (easily imported into spreadsheet and wordprocessor applications), from readings taken at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 minute intervals. Temperature readings and email intervals are user-configurable via SMS commands and a serial Windows application. The user is also able to send an SMS message to the AGT to request it to email the latest temperature log.
